Enjoyed a quick trip to Sydney last week to speak at the Accelerate in Business Event.

Attending events and the valuable networking always gets me motivated and racing off to implement the ideas I’ve learned.

No matter where I speak I always hang around to hear other presenters. It’s so important to upgrade my own learning.

Have you ever felt ‘fat’?  I certainly have and recently noticed how I’ve gained a couple of kilos too many which made me feel uncomfortable.

I’m please to say I stopped procrastinating this week and got the help I needed to shed the weight and get back on track.

I rejoined Weightwatchers to get my head straight so I can get the results I want.

If I kept making excuses and ignored how I was feeling, I could have easily spiralled out of control and before you know it that couple of kilos could have turned into 5kgs.

You know when you’re getting old when your youngest child attends their Year 11 formal!

The time finally arrived this week…and here is my ‘baby’.

I told him to ’smile’ for the photo and this was the result.

This is one of those milestones in life that I’ll always remember.

‘The Productivity Queen’

My son Trent hurt his shoulder at league training this week, so it was off to the physio (again). 

It’s all happening for him at the moment, next week he has to get his wisdom teeth removed.
It pays to have ‘extras’ health insurance. Between the physiotherapist, chiropractor, naturopath, remedial massage therapist and dentist that we use, we get reimbursed more than we pay in fees.

That’s one of the great benefits having your own business, having the flexibility and being there for your family when they need you.
