We all need to achieve and feel good

Have been attending a Christian City Church in my local area for the past several months.

It’s been great.  They have a rock band…at each ’service’ and the ‘pastors’ who present are very inspirational.

It’s like attending a motivational rock concert each week.

Anyhow last night’s ’sermon’ was about the importance of working and contributing to society.  It was so meaningful.

Most of us strive to achieve so that we feel good.  Unfortunately too many people are too busy being busy to even know how they really feel.  (They’re just paying the bills).

Make sure you don’t numb your feelings and work just for your basic survival or keep doing things for everyone else.

Fill your own tank up first.  If you want to get more in touch with your true self and enjoy your life more

check out www.baysidechurch.com.au  or google Christian City Churches.

Please don’t say ‘I don’t have the time’.  You do… it’s about what’s most important to you and you should be the no. 1 priority.

By the way, I’ve never been a church goer in the traditional sense.  This style of spirituality is totally different to what you’d expect.  It’s a great night out each week and you walk away feeling calm, peaceful and with a sense of purpose.

It is a great place to attend. My husband and I were looking for somewhere that had people who were on the same ‘level’ as us and there are so many business people there. We just clicked straight away. We love the music and the teaching really is the best!
