Have you ever attended a meeting where you arrive on time and it starts late and continues way past the finishing time?![]()
Make your meetings memorable, start and finish on time. Regardless of who is there at the beginning, get started. Have an agenda and a strong chairperson. Make it clear at the beginning that in order for the meeting to be productive people must stick to the agenda points and also ‘get to the point’. Keep a strict eye on the time and 5 minutes before the planned finishing time, start bringing the meeting to a close.
